About Us
Our goal
is to provide your child with a positive, enjoyable, and
safe dental experience. Often people ask why should they
take their children to a pediatric dentist. Just as
pediatricians are experts in the medical care of
children, pediatric dentists are experts in the dental
care of children. Receiving 2-3 years of additional
training after dental school and focusing on growth and
development, orthodontics, behavior management, and
special needs patients.
Another common question concerns the importance
of primary or baby teeth. If they are going to fall out,
then why care about them, even if they have cavities?
Baby teeth serve many obvious functions relating to
speech, chewing, and esthetics. Untreated cavities can
easily turn into toothaches or abscesses. Baby teeth
also serve as guides for the erupting permanent teeth
and so early loss can cause orthodontic problems down
the road.
We strive to create an atmosphere that is relaxing, not
intimidating. Parents, in most instances, are permitted
to come back with children for visits. Our equipment
includes the latest generation of digital x-ray -
helping to minimize exposure, software - to streamline
and increase efficiency, and sterilizers - to maintain a
high degree of infection control. We also participate in
a number of insurance plans and will file claims for
